We are now accepting applications for the 2019 Internship program. Qualified candidates will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to organize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, flexible, and be able to work in a team situation.

Applications for 2019 BFF Internships are due by Friday, February 15th. You may apply for more than one internship position, and “2019 BFF Internship Application [Last Name]” should be your email subject. 

INTERN DUTIES (But not limited to):

  • Screen film submissions.

  • Support the administrative needs of the BFF office, including research and maintain structures that help support the office organization. 

  • Help with fundraising solicitations, correspondence, and gift acknowledgments.

  • Contribute as a marketing strategist on a variety of promotional pieces, such as email newsletters, social media, film synopsis, guest bios, and other promotional copy.



  • Current student or recent graduate in a college or university degree program.

  • Ability to work 10 hours per week (in at least two-hour blocks) at our office in Las Cruces.

  • Must have own transportation to and from Borderscene Film Festival.

  • Demonstrates professional interest in the film, television and media production industry.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Interns are not required to receive course credit, but may be eligible. Check with your advisor.


BFF Internships are currently unpaid. However, you will receive benefits for interning.
